Quotidian magazine is...
...an exciting new online and print literary magazine on 'the everyday' coming out of the University of Strathclyde in Glasgow, Scotland. We publish short fiction, creative nonfiction, and poetry written by students across Scotland and we're currently on our third issue. We're also delighted to showcase a handful of work by student photographers and sketch artists alongside our stories and poems.
All the pieces featured on Quotidian are short enough to read in one sitting: you could read them on your phone on your bus journey into work, or between lectures, or while you're eating sandwich at lunch. Share them with the people you meet on your tea-break. Come back to them later in the day and look at them in a new light. Read them a few times. Soak them in. They may be short, but they carry weight.
We'll be releasing stories and poems from Issue #3* on a rolling basis each week. We hope you'll read along with us! (*Also check out our archive to find all the pieces from issues #1 and #2)
